Dr. Wight was born, raised and attended school in Enid, Oklahoma. While there, he most enjoyed basketball.
He Attended Oklahoma University medical school from 1965 to 1969 after medical school, Dr. Wight did his residency at the Oklahoma family practice residency. He was a Major in the Air Force and served as a flight surgeon. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Wight has been in practice in Ada since 1975. He has four daughters Rachel, Karen, Renee and Amy. One son Avery, three grandchildren and one dog (Sooner). Dr. Wight is also a die-hard O.U. fan. Special interest includes family practice and ADHD.
